On October 18, 2023, China's first bridge explosion-proof heavy-duty handling robot "Pangu No.1", independently developed and produced by Xi 'an Chenghe Industrial Automation Equipment Co., LTD., was successfully delivered.
"Pangu No.1" is 9.5 meters long, 2.5 meters wide and 90 centimeters high, and looks like a flatbed truck. The robot adopts a unique bridge structure design, which can easily carry items weighing up to 55 tons. It is equipped with China's self-developed 3D laser + Beidou navigation + inertial navigation technology and intelligent control system, which can independently complete the path planning, obstacle avoidance, traffic control and other tasks, while the vehicle can also be remotely monitored.
"Pangu No.1" adopts advanced explosion-proof technology, which can replace manual operation to achieve safety and stability in hazardous and explosive environments of large-scale factories and mines such as flour mills, cement factories and also in aerospace and other fields. It will greatly improve work efficiency and ensure production safety.
